Afternoon session in the sun, behind closed doors on Thursday

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were back in a sunny Bogliasco on Wednesday afternoon as they continued their preparations for the trip to Sassuolo on Saturday evening.

With Primavera youngsters Ibourahima Balde, Denis Baumgartner and Andrea Tessiore joining in, the Blucerchiati worked through a series of technical and tactical drills, practice games and a minimatch to finish.

Edgar Barreto trained separately, while Luis Muriel and Jacopo Sala both had double rehab sessions.

The squad will be back at the training ground for a morning session behind closed doors.
