Samp back in Bogliasco for first session ahead of Lazio trip

Sampdoria reported back to the training ground on Tuesday to start preparing for Sunday’s visit to Lazio.

The players who were involved in the 1-1 draw with Torino on Saturday night did drills focusing on fitness, technique and tactics.

Meanwhile Marco Giampaolo worked separately with the remainder of the squad, who were bolstered by academy boys Denis Baumgartner, Pietro Cavagnaro, Jacopo Cioce, Domenico Cuomo, Andrea Tessiore and Michal Tomic for today’s session.

Edgar Barreto and Emiliano Viviano trained on their own in the gym and in the pool while Luis Muriel and Jacopo Sala pushed on with their respective recovery plans.

Patrik Schick had treatment and did some personalised exercises in the gym.

Ante Budimir and Angelo Palombo did individual aerobic work.

The team will be back in Bogliasco for another workout on Wednesday morning.
