Training resumes with group work in Bogliasco

The Blucerchiati reported back to the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini on Tuesday for their first session of the week.

Marco Giampaolo split the squad into two groups, with light training for those who featured against Chievo at the weekend and a full workout for the others.

Primavera youngsters Pietro Cavagnaro, Jacopo Cioce, Titas Krapikas, Andrea Tessiore and Michal Tomic were drafted in to make up the numbers

Fabio Quagliarella had treatment and physiotherapy after taking a blow to the ribs in the first half of Sunday’s match, while Wladimiro Falcone also received treatment.

Angelo Palombo continued his personalised programme involving physio and work in the pool and the gym.

Bartosz Bereszynski followed a similar programme but also did some individual work on the pitch.

Emiliano Viviano remains in Rome following his recent knee op.

The squad will return to the training ground for their next session on Wednesday morning.
