Sampdoria arrive in Ponte di Legno, first training session on Tuesday morning

It’s often said that Serie A is a marathon, not a sprint. Endurance levels will be key during the season ahead, and the Sampdoria squad certainly had to show their stamina this afternoon with a five-hour coach journey from Genoa to their pre-season training base in Ponte di Legno.

The squad left the AC Hotel in Corso Europa, Genoa at 14:20 CEST this afternoon, arriving at the Blu Hotel Acquaseria in Ponte di Legno just after 19:30 CEST.

The Blucerchiati will get an early night after dinner so that they can rest up for their first training session at the Temu sports centre, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday morning.
