Another double session for Doria; Zenoni twins visit the training camp
Marco Giampaolo oversaw his players in yet another double helping of training in sunny Temu today.
The morning session was given over to muscle activation, strength and power work, as well as injury prevention, before the squad divided into positions for tactical drills to wrap up before lunch. The afternoon workout featured more tactical and technical exercises, circuits and a practice match on a small pitch.
Former Samp star Cristian Zenoni, who made 175 appearances and scored four goals for the club in a five-year spell between 2003 and 2008, popped by in a surprise visit today, accompanied by his twin Damiano. Cristian spent time chatting with Giampaolo and his former team-mates Angelo Palombo, Fabio Quagliarella and Emiliano Viviano (from his Bologna days).
The Blucerchiati face another double session tomorrow, as the Ponte di Legno training camp continues.
