Afternoon off for Doria, first friendly on Saturday

After an intense morning session featuring gym work and tactical exercises in groups, Marco Giampaolo and his team decided to give the Blucerchiati the afternoon off.

While most of the squad were free to indulge in some rest and relaxation, those in need of extra work or special treatment stayed at the training centre to continue their pre-season preparations.

The squad will be back at the training ground tomorrow morning for a light session before the first friendly of the season, against local side Sellero Novelle. The match is due to take place at 17:30 CEST (free entry).

The action won’t end at the final whistle, however, as from 20:00 CEST all Sampdoria fans are invited to come together for the Notte Blucerchiata in Temu’s Piazza Pellegrinaggio in Adamello. A delegation of Samp players will be in attendance.
