Tactics and practice games in Temu, Feralpisalò friendly on Saturday

Marco Giampaolo led his Sampdoria side through another double training session at their pre-season base in Ponte di Legno on Friday.

In the morning session, the squad focused on strength and tactical exercises, while the afternoon saw the Blucerchiati test their mettle on an obstacle course and get stuck into some minimatches.

Vanessa Ferrero – the daughter of president Massimo Ferrero and a member of the Sampdoria board – was there to observe training, having travelled up into the mountains for a weekend with her daughters.

Samp will play their second friendly match of the season on Saturday afternoon as they take on Feralpisalò, who are coached by former Doria defender Michele Serena. Kick-off is at 17:30 CEST (live coverage on Twitter and highlights on Samp TV).
