Last double session in Temu, Samp v Verona set for Saturday
The Blucerchiati were put through their paces in a final training session in the Val Camonica, as the team finalised its high-altitude pre-season training and geared up for fixtures in Dublin and Swansea.
All of the squad barring Emiliano Viviano were involved in the training session, led by Marco Giampaolo and his staff. The training featured work with resistance bands and technical drills, before training matches on a smaller pitch.
On Saturday, the team will be able to stretch their legs one last time in Temu before heading to Trento, for their fourth pre-season match. Samp will take on the newly-promoted Hellas Verona, led by one of our former players, Fabio Pecchia. The fixture is scheduled for 18.00 CEST and will take place at the Stadio Briamasco (live updates on Twitter; highlights on Samp TV).
