In-house friendly in place of Roma game. Torino prep begins on Tuesday

Sampdoria were back at the training ground on Saturday morning for an in-house friendly after their evening fixture against Roma was called off.

Marco Giampaolo had his charges play two 40-minute halves at a high tempo to help them maintain match fitness on what is now another weekend with no competitive action.

Dodo Pires was the only player not involved as he continues his rehabilitation work.

The boss has given his men two days off and told them to report back on Tuesday morning to begin preparations for the match against Torino.
