Giampaolo taking nothing for granted ahead of Verona trip

Sampdoria have only just got back to Genoa after drawing with Torino and they’re already off again – this time to Verona.

Ahead of Wednesday’s Serie A clash at the Stadio Bentegodi, Marco Giampaolo sat down with Samp TV to share his thoughts on the game.

The boss stressed the importance of factoring in fitness issues when picking the team and warned there’s no such thing as an easy game as Samp bid to extend their unbeaten start to the campaign. He also praised his side’s scoring record, explaining how goals boost players’ self-belief.
