Morning session in two groups with Montella’s Milan next up

Marco Giampaolo split his squad into two groups for training the day after Samp’s 0-0 draw at Verona as work begins for Sunday’s visit of AC Milan to Marassi.

The players who played most of Wednesday’s match at the Stadio Bentegodi focused on recovery in the gym and on the pitch, while the remainder of the squad were put through a regular session on the top pitch.

The team will train behind closed doors on Friday afternoon.
