Double workout on Friday. Friendly with Carrarese on Saturday morning

With no competitive fixtures scheduled this weekend, Marco Giampaolo put the team through a double session in Bogliasco today, while Joachim Andersen, Bartosz Bereszynski, Dawid Kownacki, Karol Linetty and Duvan Zapata remain away on international duty.

In the morning the boss had the players focus on fitness, with individual tactical drills taking place on the top pitch. Gianluca Caprari was involved today having sat out Thursday’s session with flu.

Primavera youngsters Ibourahima Balde, Joao Claudio Gomes Ricciulli and Andrea Tessiore joined in for the afternoon session, which consisted of a warm-up and rondos followed by a training match on a small pitch.

The Blucerchiati will report back on Saturday morning to play a friendly match against Serie C side Carrarese in what will be their final workout of the week. We remind fans that the training ground remains closed to the public due to ongoing renovation work.
