Training resumes in two groups, Strinic trains separately

Sampdoria were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini in Bogliasco on Wednesday following Tuesday night’s comfortable cup win over Pescara.

The squad was divided into two groups, with those involved for all or part of the Pescara clash working through a recovery session. Meanwhile, the rest of the players warmed up before getting stuck into a series of fitness-oriented practice games.

Ivan Strinic trained separately as he continues to return to fitness, while Karol Linetty received treatment and physiotherapy.

Samp will train again on Thursday afternoon.
