Blucerchiati back in training after Christmas, double session on Wednesday

Sampdoria were back in training on Saint Stephen’s Day, with the players pelted by the falling rain out on pitch two at the Mugnaini. Joined by two youngsters – Simone Giordano and Andrea Tessiore – the Doria squad split their training time between warm-ups, possession drills and themed training games, in a session that lasted just over one hour.

Duvan Zapata followed an individual fitness programme to bring him up to top condition. On Wednesday Marco Giampaolo’s squad will have a double training session ahead of the clash with SPAL.
