More group work in Bogliasco as Praet injury confirmed

Samp were back in Bogliasco on Friday as they continued to prepare for Sunday night’s trip to the Stadio Olimpico.

Those involved against Roma on Wednesday night once again focused on recovery, while the rest of the squad – including youngster Michal Tomic – worked through a series of fitness, technique and tactical drills on the main pitch.

Dennis Praet underwent tests which confirmed he suffered a right thigh strain in the second half of the Roma game. The Belgian has already started receiving physiotherapy on the injury, after which the club will decide on a recovery plan.

Samp will train again on Saturday morning. For logistical reasons, there will be no pre-match press conference, but Samp TV will publish an interview with Marco Giampaolo in the afternoon.
