Group work in first session back at Bogliasco. Physio for Praet

Sampdoria were split into two groups as they eased back into training on Tuesday morning following Sunday’s victory over Roma.

The Blucerchiati who played most of the match at the Stadio Olimpico followed personalised recovery programmes in the gym, on the pitch and in the massage room.

Meanwhile the remainder of the squad – bolstered by academy youngsters Giacomo Piccardo and Michal Tomic – focused on training games and fitness work.

Dennis Praet had another session with the physio.
