Tactics at the Mugnaini, final session and news conference on Saturday

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Friday to continue their preparations for Sunday’s trip to Crotone.

After a general warm-up including fitness and technique drills, the players focused on tactics exercises before getting stuck into a practice game to finish.

With Bartosz Bereszynski missing through injury (the Pole was busy working on his recovery on the second pitch), there were ten Primavera youngsters enlisted to join in with first-team training: Bubacar Balde, Goncalo Cabral, Mario Curito, Joao Gomes Ricciulli, Bozo Mikulic, Carlo Romei, Francesco Scotti, Andrea Tessiore, Michal Tomic and Roberts Veips.

Samp will train against tomorrow morning. Marco Giampaolo will then hold his pre-match press conference at 13:00 CET (live on Twitter, highlights on Samp TV).
