Afternoon session at rainy Bogliasco, Caprari and Viviano train separately

Driving rain greeted Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad on Thursday afternoon as they reported to Bogliasco to continue preparations for Sunday’s home match against Inter.

With Primavera youngsters Titas Krapikas and Ognjen Stijepovic joining in with the first team, the Blucerchiati kicked things off with a series of tactical drills and technique exercises before focusing on minimatches.

Jacopo Sala spent some of the session with the group, while Emiliano Viviano (lower back) had a personalised session in the gym and pool. Gianluca Caprari was confined to the gym, having recently recovered from flu.

Doria will train again on Friday morning.
