Caprari bags hat-trick in Saturday friendly with Primavera
Sampdoria kept their engines ticking over on international weekend with an in-house friendly against the Blucerchiati Primavera on Saturday morning.
With the exception of Edgar Barreto, who is continuing his physiotherapy programme, Marco Giampaolo used all the players available to him in the match, which lasted 70 minutes (45 first half, 25 second half).
Gianluca Caprari scored all three goals as the senior side ran out 3-0 winners: a penalty (23) and another from open play (35) in the first period, then another penalty (52) after the break.
The squad have been given 48 hours off and will report back to the training ground on Monday afternoon.
