Linetty returns to group training. Gaslini paediatric hospital visit on Wednesday
Karol Linetty was back in training with the rest of the squad on Tuesday while eight players remain away on international duty.
The midfielder, who suffered a minor facial injury in Poland’s game against Nigeria on Friday, was passed fit to resume work with the other Blucerchiati when they reported in for an afternoon session.
After a warm-up, the players did integrated strength training and fitness drills. Primavera youngsters Yassin Ejjaki, Gergely Hutvagner and Andrea Tessiore also took part.
Edgar Barreto and Fabio Quagliarella had physiotherapy and worked in the pool while Bartosz Bereszynski continued with his personalised programme, first in the gym and then out on the pitch for technical and aerobic exercises.
Joachim Andersen, Vid Belec, Gian Marco Ferrari, Dawid Kownacki, Gaston Ramirez, Ivan Strinic, Lucas Torreira and Duvan Zapata are due back in Bogliasco over the coming days.
On Wednesday, after training again in the afternoon, the team will travel to the Gaslini paediatric hospital for their traditional Easter visit.
