International contingent back in Bogliasco. Morning session on Thursday

The dressing room at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini is almost full again as another seven players reported back from international duty for training on Wednesday afternoon.

Massimo Ferrero, Carlo Osti and Daniele Prade watched on as the team continued with preparations for Saturday’s visit to Chievo Verona.

Gian Marco Ferrari and Duvan Zapata joined in with the rest of the squad on Pitch 2 for tactical and technical drills, with the group further bolstered by Primavera youngsters Goncalo Cabral, Gergely Hutvagner, Andrea Tessiore and Ivan Vujcic.

Bartosz Bereszynski and Fabio Quagliarella trained separately on the pitch while Vid Belec, Gaston Ramírez and Lucas Torreira did personalised recovery work in the gym and the pool.

Dawid Kownacki had treatment on a minor thigh strain. Edgar Barreto had physio and did rehabilitation work in the pool and on the exercise bike.

Joachim Andersen sat out due to mild flu-like symptoms.

Ivan Strinic, the only player still away, is due back from the States on Thursday, when the team will train in the morning behind closed doors.
