Sampdoria bring smiles, joy and Easter eggs to Gaslini paediatric hospital
Sampdoria made their annual visit to the Giannina Gaslini paediatric hospital in Genoa on Wednesday.
Following a tradition dating back to 1978, the Samp management, coaching staff and players made the trip across town to share a moment with the young patients, offering smiles, hugs, autographs, selfies and hundreds of Blucerchiati chocolate eggs.
As always, the club was afforded a very warm welcome by Gaslini president Pietro Pongiglione, CEO Paolo Petralia and CISEF director Maurizio Luvizone.
Before the official meeting, Massimo Ferrero, Carlo Osti, Daniele Prade, Marco Giampaolo and the players went into the Orthopaedic and Surgery wards to say hello to the children who weren’t able to attend the meeting in the Great Hall.
