Fitness test for Quagliarella; morning session on Friday

Sampdoria were out in training this morning at Bogliasco, continuing their preparations for Sunday’s trip to face SPAL.

The squad went through a mixed warm-up, some technical and tactical drills and some practise games to finish. Fabio Quagliarella had his first fitness test outside since his injury, while Edgar Barreto, Jacopo Sala and Duvan Zapata all had separate recovery workouts. Emiliano Viviano underwent a scan following his late pull-out before the Napoli game.

Primavera players Gergely Hutvagner and Ivan Vujcic stepped up to join in first-team training.

The Blucerchati have another session planned for tomorrow morning.
