Quagliarella’s second day back with the squad. Giampaolo press conference on Saturday

Fabio Quagliarella trained with the rest of the team for the second day running on Friday as Sampdoria pushed on with preparations for their final league fixture of the season, away to SPAL.

The Blucerchiati skipper did a personalised warm-up but otherwise came through the full session with his team-mates.

The squad ran through tactical drills with Sunday’s match in mind then played a series of small-sided games.

Edgar Barreto, Jacopo Sala and Duvan Zapata had physiotherapy and did some personalised work while Emiliano Viviano had treatment.
