Torreira plays 30 minutes as Uruguay beat Uzbekistan in final World Cup warm-up

Lucas Torreira came on as a second-half substitute as Uruguay completed their World Cup preparations with a 3-0 win against Uzbekistan.

Oscar Tabarez’s side were 2-0 up at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo following goals by De Arrascaeta (32) and Suarez (53) when the Samp midfielder replaced Vecino in the 58th minute.

Gimenez added a third in the 73rd minute before the visitors were reduced to 10 men following Komilov’s sending-off.
