Road to the World Cup, Linetty: our strength is our team-spirit

A reference point for Sampdoria, and a pillar of the Polish national team, Karol Linetty can’t wait to light the World Cup up too. “Poland is a competitive side, Lewandowksi is our star player but our strength is our team-spirit”, the Samp midfielder told Road to World Cup.

“The group is very difficult, it will be important for us to start strong. I get on really well with Bereszynski and Kownacki: we played together at Lech Poznan and we met up again in Genoa and that understanding helps us with club, as well as country. Since Italy won’t be at Russia 2018, I hope that the Samp fans will be cheering for us a bit.”
