Samp in St Albans: afternoon session at Watford Training Ground

After Wednesday’s friendly against Fulham in Aldershot, the Blucerchiati moved north to their new base in St Albans on Thursday and worked at Watford Training Ground ahead of Saturday’s match with the Hornets.

Marco Giampaolo – celebrating his 51^st birthday – split the squad into two groups for the afternoon session. The players who started the game against Fulham as well as Fabio Quagliarella – who was rested as a precaution – worked mainly in the gym, while the remainder of the squad trained on the pitch.

The Blucerchiati will be back at Watford Training Ground on Friday for a double session.
