Samp back at home: afternoon training in Bogliasco

Sampdoria were back in training at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini for the first time in a month this afternoon.

Following two days off after the UK tour, Marco Giampaolo led his team through a late-afternoon workout focusing on fitness, technical drills and a practice match. Walter Sabatini and Carlo Osti also attended the session from the sidelines.

Fabio Quagliarella and Jacopo Sala spent the afternoon in the treatment rooms as they work their way back to full fitness.

The Blucerchiati have a double session planned for Wednesday in order to begin preparations for the 2018/19 debut in the Coppa Italia against Viterbese on Sunday.
