Giampaolo leads double session ahead of Coppa Italia bow

Sampdoria were put through their paces with a double session in Bogliasco on Wednesday, with Sunday’s Coppa Italia tie with Viterbese drawing ever closer.

The morning session saw Marco Giampaolo and his coaching staff focus on strength and tactics in group, while the afternoon kicked off with some video analysis followed by more tactics and a practice game.

Fabio Quagliarella (pool and pitch) and Jacopo Sala (pool only) continued working on their recovery plans.

The Blucerchiati will be back to work on Thursday afternoon.
