Praet undergoes tests as reduced contingent resume training

After a full day off for the entire squad on Sunday, a small group of players returned to the training ground on Monday for individual sessions.

Omar Colley, who was given permission to take Saturday off, was joined at the Mugnaini by Rafael Cabral, Gregoire Defrel, Albin Ekdal, Nicola Murru, Gaston Ramirez, Junior Tavares and Ronaldo Vieira, with each being doing personalised work.

Vasco Regini meanwhile continued with his rehabilitation programme.

Dennis Praet had treatment and underwent diagnostic tests at Laboratorio Albaro in the late morning after sustaining a knock to his knee in training. The test results revealed a minor injury to the collateral ligament.

Marco Giampaolo will welcome back a full contingent on Tuesday when the team begin preparations for next Sunday’s visit to Udinese.
