Double training in Bogliasco, afternoon session on Friday

Marco Giampaolo’s Blucerchiati squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini in Bogliasco on Thursday without Joachim Andersen, Emil Audero, Vid Belec, Bartosz Bereszynski, Albin Ekdal, Jakub Jankto, Dawid Kownacki, Karol Linetty, Ognjen Stijepovic and Ronaldo Vieira, all of whom are away on international duty.

In the morning, the players focused on strength and fitness outside, together with some technique drills and tactics exercises. In the afternoon, the squad warmed up before getting stuck into a tactical section focusing on attacking. A practice game brought the day’s work to an end.

Primavera youngsters Mohamed Bahlouli, Goncalo Cabral, Davide Canovi, Yassin Ejjaki, Tommaso Farabegoli, Simone Giordano, Giuliano Maglie, Daouda Peeters and Matteo Raspa joined in with the first-team squad for the day.

Gregoire Defrel and Nicola Murru trained separately as planned, before doing some pool work in the afternoon alongside Riccardo Saponara. Dennis Praet did some ball work, while Vasco Regini continued working on his recovery plan, partly on the bike.

Samp will train again on Friday afternoon.
