Praet, Tonelli back in training as internationals return. Referee meeting with Massa
Marco Giampaolo and the coaching staff had almost a full complement of players to work with on Wednesday afternoon following the return of the entire international contingent bar Joachim Andersen.
Emil Audero, Vid Belec and Albin Ekdal joined in with the main group as they continued preparations for Saturday’s trip to Frosinone while Bartosz Bereszynski, Jakub Jankto, Dawid Kownacki, Karol Linetty and Ronaldo Vieira focused on recovery work.
Dennis Praet and Lorenzo Tonelli were back in training with the squad for the first time since their respective injuries, while numbers were further bolstered by Primavera youngsters Leonardo Benedetti, Yassin Ejjaki, Giuliano Maglie, Daouda Peeters, Matteo Raspa and Jamie Yayi Mpie
Gaston Ramirez and Vasco Regini did personalised work in the gym and the pool, as did Riccardo Saponara, who also worked on the pitch.
Before training began there was a meeting with Serie A referee Davide Massa, who explained the recent changes to the rules and different refereeing interpretations for the current season.
The team will be back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Thursday for a double session.
