Straight back to work in Bogliasco, training and press conference on Friday

Sampdoria were straight back in training in Bogliasco on Thursday morning to begin preparations for Saturday night’s visit of Inter to Marassi.

Marco Giampaolo and his staff split the squad into two groups, with those involved for all or most of the Fiorentina game on Wednesday night working through a recovery session while the rest of the players trained as normal for around an hour.

Vasco Regini was not at the training ground, instead visiting Villa Stuart in Rome for a check-up. Riccardo Saponara continued working on his recovery plan.

Samp will train again on Friday afternoon. Marco Giampaolo will hold his pre-match press conference at 13:00 CEST (live on Twitter, highlights on YouTube).
