Group work on Tuesday as training resumes ahead of Torino

After a rest day on Monday and a morning photo shoot in Galleria Mazzini, Sampdoria resumed training on Tuesday afternoon with Sunday’s home game against Torino next on the horizon.

Marco Giampaolo and his backroom team split the squad into groups for their first workout of the week. The players involved for most of the match on Sunday did recovery work in the gym while the others played a friendly against Felice Tufano’s Under-17s.

Gregoire Defrel, Nicola Murru, Riccardo Saponara and Lorenzo Tonelli worked in the pool, while Vasco Regini continued with this personalised programme.

The Blucerchiati will be back in Bogliasco on Wednesday for a double session.
