Giampaolo selects 23-man squad for Genoa derby

After this morning’s training session, attended by Massimo Ferrero and sporting director Carlo Osti and during which the team made their final preparations for tonight’s Derby della Lanterna, coach Marco Giampaolo named his squad for the big game. The 23-man list does not include the injured Edgar Barreto and Vasco Regini, or Karol Linetty, who will be serving a ban.

Here’s the list in full:

Goalkeepers: Audero, Belec, Rafael.

Defenders: Andersen, Bereszynski, Colley, Ferrari, Leverbe, Murru, Rolando, Sala, Tavares, Tonelli.

Midfielders: Ekdal, Jankto, Praet, Ramírez, Saponara, Vieira.

Forwards: Caprari, Defrel, Kownacki, Quagliarella.
