Training resumes in groups at the Mugnaini, afternoon session on Monday

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Sunday morning to kickstart their preparations for the Boxing Day visit of Chievo Verona.

The players involved for all or most of Samp’s 4-2 win over Empoli had a recovery session, while the rest of the squad trained as normal outside.

Bartosz Bereszynski worked alone on his recovery from injury, receiving treatment and physio as well as doing some cycling. Edgar Barreto had a planned individual session.

Samp will train in the afternoon on Christmas Eve.
