Group session on Christmas Eve, more training on Christmas Morning

Marco Giampaolo’s squad were back in Bogliasco on Christmas Eve to continue preparing for their Boxing Day clash with Chievo Verona.

The squad again split into groups, with the players either working on recovery or on technique drills and tactical exercises based on individual needs and how much playing time they have had in recent weeks.

Edgar Barreto trained separately and Bartosz Bereszynski focused on recovery work in the gym and out on the pitch.

The squad will train on Christmas morning before meeting up to stay together overnight ahead of the game.
