Samp continue training in groups, double session on Wednesday

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad reported back to the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini in Bogliasco on Tuesday for their second training session of the week ahead of Saturday’s match against Udinese.

After a technical meeting, Giampaolo and his coaching staff split the squad up based on their playing time in the games against AC Milan and Fiorentina. Those who have been more involved had a recovery session on Pitch 2, along with Karol Linetty, while the rest of the squad trained as normal on Pitch 1, with Primavera youngsters Leonardo Benedetti, Daouda Peeters and Jamie Yayi Mpie joining in.

Nicola Murru, Jacopo Sala and Lorenzo Tonelli had individual sessions, while Edgar Barreto continued working on his recovery from injury.

The Blucerchiati have a double session planned on Wednesday.
