Morning session in groups in Bogliasco, afternoon training on Thursday

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Wednesday to continue preparing for Sunday’s match against SPAL.

With 14 academy youngsters joining in with the first team, the Blucerchiati split into two groups to work through a programme of strength work in the gym, technique drills, tactical exercises and position-specific drills.

Albin Ekdal, Nicola Murru and Gaston Ramirez trained separately, while Edgar Barreto and Gianluca Caprari continued their recovery plans.

Samp train again on Thursday afternoon.
