Samp train with SPAL clash closing in. Giampaolo media conference on Saturday

Friday morning saw the Blucerchiati undertake their fifth training session of the week leading up to Sunday’s away game at SPAL.

After some video analysis indoors, the squad moved outside for technical and tactical drills with the next opponents in mind. Academy youngsters Mohamed Bahlouli, Masimiliano Doda, Tommaso Farabegoli and Simone Trimboli trained with the senior side once again.

Elsewhere Nicola Murru followed a personalised programme on the pitch while Gaston Ramirez and Lorenzo Tonelli worked in the gym. Edgar Barreto and Gianluca Caprari continued with their rehabilitation work.

The team will train again on Saturday morning before Marco Giampaolo sits down with the media around 12:45 to preview the match.
