Samp stars donning Azzurri jersey: Italy call-ups for Quagliarella and Audero

The final two international call-ups arrived late this afternoon, spelling good news for Samp captain Fabio Quagliarella and goalkeeper Emil Audero.

There will now be 11 Blucerchiati players away on international duty next week.

Following the training camp last February, Italy head coach Roberto Mancini has named Quagliarella in his squad for the two upcoming EURO 2020 qualifiers in Group J: the first against Finland at home in Udine on 23 March and the second against Liechtenstein on 26 March, also at home in Parma.

The Italy U-21 squad continue their preparations for the tournament on home soil this summer from 16 to 30 June 2019: Audero will be in action on 21 March against Austria in Trieste and on 25 March against Croatia in Frosinone.
