Ramirez returns to group training, final session of the week on Saturday

Gaston Ramirez made his return to group training as Sampdoria continued to train in Bogliasco on Friday afternoon.

Having missing the Sassuolo game after picking up a knock against Atalanta, the Uruguayan was able to take full part in the training session, which featured a warm-up, some fitness work and a range of technique drills.

Riccardo Saponara received treatment, saw the physiotherapists and worked on his individual programme, while Edgar Barreto and Gianluca Caprari both continued to focus on their returns from injury.

Primavera youngsters Tommaso Farabegoli, Gergely Hutvagner, Giuliano Maglie and Luca Scarlino all joined in.

Samp have their final session of the week on Saturday morning.
