Samp prepare for Torino clash. Training in Novara on Tuesday

Today the Sampdoria players had their final training session in Bogliasco ahead of their trip to Novara, where they will prepare for their match with Torino. The session took place under the watchful eyes of Walter Sabatini, technical director, and sporting director Carlo Osti.

The players that were most involved in Saturday’s clash with Milan did some recovery work. The rest of the squad, plus 12 players from the Academy, did some technical and tactical work, as well as some training matches. Edgar Barreto, Gianluca Caprari and Albin Ekdal continued their respective recovery programmes.

Ahead of Wednesday evening’s match against Torino, the team will depart for Novarello, where tomorrow they will have their penultimate pre-game training session. No pre-match news conference is scheduled, but Marco Giampaolo will speak to the club’s official media team.
