Giampaolo names 23-man squad for trip to Chievo Verona

Sampdoria had their final training session this morning at Bogliasco ahead of Sunday’s match away to Chievo Verona at the Stadio Bentegodi.

Goalkeeper Vid Belec does not travel due to a knee injury, which means a call-up for Primavera shotstopper Titas Krapikas who takes shirt number 32. Joachim Andersen and Nicola Murru also miss out as they continue their respective recoveries.

Finally, Marco Giampaolo has handed a place in the squad to Simone Trimboli as well.
