Belec, Ekdal and Jankto called up for Euro qualifiers

Three more Sampdoria players have been called up by their respective national teams for Euro 2020 qualifying matches next week.

Vid Belec will join up with Slovenia ahead of their two away fixtures in Group G: first against Austria in Klagenfurt on 7 June and then against Latvia in Riga on 10 June.

Meanwhile Albin Ekdal’s Sweden, in Group F, host Malta in Solna on 7 June before travelling to face Spain in Madrid three days later.

And Jakub Jankto is in the Czech Republic squad for their home matches in Group A against Bulgaria (Prague, 7 June) and Montenegro (Olomouc, 10 June).
