Afternoon session ahead of Spezia clash on Wednesday

A video meeting, warm-up with rondos, technical and tactical drills with a fitness element and small-sided games were all on the agenda during Sampdoria’s afternoon training session ahead of the friendly against Spezia at the Stadio Alberto Picco on Wednesday evening.

Gianluca Caprari and Albin Ekdal did not train with the rest of the squad and instead underwent a series of specifically planned drills out on the training pitch. Manolo Gabbiadini spent the session in the swimming pool as part of his recovery from injury.

The Blucerchiati will be back at the Mugnaini in Bogliasco on Wednesday morning for another session, at the end of which the travelling squad will set off to Spezia.
