First Bogliasco training session for most recent arrivals

The Sampdoria squad was back to work on Tuesday. Without Bartosz Bereszynski, Julian Chabot, Omar Colley, Albin Ekdal, Jakub Jankto and Karol Linetty who are away on international duty, the Blucerchiati were put through their paces during a tailored afternoon session in the sunshine at the Mugnaini.

As is always the case for the first session after a match, Eusebio Di Francesco split the players into two groups following some fitness work. Those who were heavily involved in Reggio Emilia against Sassuolo took part in a warm-down session both on the pitch and in the gym. The rest of the squad performed technical and tactical drills and also competed in a small-sided match. New arrivals Emiliano Rigoni, Kaique Rocha and Andrea Seculin all trained for the first time in Bogliasco.

In terms of the injury front, Gonzalo Maroni continued down his road to recovery.

The players will be back for a double training session on Wednesday.
