Bereszynski: “We should’ve never conceded the third goal. We need three points in Verona”
Bartosz Bereszynski spoke after the defeat at the hands of Inter about the game and how the team needs to get through this difficult period: “They were better than us in the first half, then we changed formation and freshened things up. After the red card to Sanchez and Jankto’s goal made it 2-1, I really thought we could win. We drove forward with the fans behind us as our twelfth man on the pitch, but we should’ve never conceded the third goal which killed the game. They’re a top side with experience and quality and we can’t afford to make mistakes like that.”
When asked what the main problem at Sampdoria at the moment is, the Pole responded, “I think it’s our heads. We’re not used to seeing the team on three points after six league games, but we have to go to Verona and claim the three points. We have to win there.”
