Technical and tactical drills at the Mugnaini ahead of Friday training and press conference

With two days to go until Sampdoria visit Verona on Saturday, the Blucerchiati stepped up preparations at the Mugnaini in Bogliasco. Eusebio Di Francesco and his staff briefed the players in the video room before taking them out on to pitch one for a series of technical and tactical drills ahead of the clash at the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi. The only player not involved was Karol Linetty, who is undergoing recovery work after tests confirmed an injury to the adductor longus muscle in his right thigh.

Another morning session is scheduled for Friday, after which the coach will take some time out to speak to the media in his pre-match press conference at 13:00, which will be live on Twitter and highlights will be uploaded on YouTube. The squad will then get on the coach to Verona after lunch for the crucial game on Saturday evening which will kick off at 18:00 CEST.
