Tactics and practice games in Bogliasco, morning session on Friday

Sampdoria were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini for their second training session of the week ahead of Monday night’s trip to take on Cagliari in Sardinia.

After a warm-up, the squad worked through a programme of tactics drills and mini practice games. Fabio Quagliarella trained with the rest of the group for the whole session, while Primavera players Lorenzo Avogadri and Marco Pompetti joined in with the first team.

Edgar Barreto had a personalised session alone, while Andrea Bertolacci and Fabio Depaoli both received treatment and physiotherapy. Federico Bonazzoli continued working on his recovery plan, while Bartosz Bereszynski is still in Poznan focusing on his own rehabilitation process.

Samp will be back at the training ground on Friday morning.
